The smartveg Control Module, using state of the art electronics, literally allows you to 'turn the key and go' to give hassle free and peace of mind veg oil motoring. Family members or friends can easily use a shared vehicle without worry.

Unlike competitive systems, smartveg will not allow premature changeover to potentially damaging cold veg oil. Only when the engine has warmed sufficiently (the vehicle temperature gauge isn't the best guide!) will smartveg permit veg oil operation. Reassuringly, smartveg will ensure that you safely purge your vehicle's injection system of vegetable oil, when you switch off.

Safety and Approval

Smartveg is the only system available in the UK that meets strict EU safety standards for electrical compliance (EMC 95/54/EC), using the latest electronics and compliant materials. Smartveg has been independently tested at leading automotive research and test institution, MIRA. When converted - either by our fitting centre or by following our step by step, fully illustrated Installation Guide - you're vehicle will be compliant to vehicle inspectorate (MOT) standards.

All the components used in smartveg are 'class A' rated for use with vegetable oil and diesel fuel and the conditions found in your vehicle's engine bay. The valves we use have a well proven motoring heritage, being used for many years by Jaguar and Land Rover. Our design team have over 50 years combined experience of designing high-reliability cutting edge electronics, with a large amount of work in the aerospace industry.
