Instruction sheet

UK manufactured natural sheeps wool insulation uses wool from the hill farms of Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England. It’s a quality
product through and through.

In fact sheeps wool insulation is simply the best sound and heat insulation you can put in your van today

Wool doesn’t need any safety precautions when fitting and is a pleasure to work and sleep with.

Man-made fibre insulation cause severe irritation when they come into contact with skin and when breathed in. Safety clothing and mask are required when installing these products. Not nice to work or sleep with.

Wool insulation requires little cutting during insulation. Owing to the alignment of the wool fibres, it tears easily across its width . It can also be cut and shaped with a strong pair of scissors for pieces going into small cavities. With wool insulation, there will be no leftover material as off-cuts can be readily used elsewhere. It’s more flexible too, as it can also be compressed and wedged into spaces without the need to cut exactly to the size required, expanding fill the entire space being insulated.

Wool even prevents condensation – naturally. When wool absorbs moisture it actually emits energy which warms the wool and prevents condensation; no man-made insulation has this naturally adaptive capability. We have used wool in our campers for five years now with nothing but brilliant results. We have removed panels to inspect after a long period and is still as it was. We actually found that the wool puffs up and expands to fill the area and is snug against the lining. No vapour barrier is needed, best to let it breathe naturally. The wool absorbs moisture but is never wet to the touch, when the van gets warm on a sunny day the moisture is released and actually acts as a coolant.

Wool is nonflammable. Put simply, it needs more oxygen to become flammable than there is in the air –making it one of the most fire-safe materials imaginable. What’s more, wool has a unique ability to absorb formaldehyde – locking it permanently into the fibre. No man made insulation has this remarkable feature.

A material that’s naturally easy to work with
